The work done by Apian in this sector consists of the installation of rockfall containment nets or open nets.
The company carries out the activity of application of rockfall protection nets in rock masses with a small surface area in fragments of various sizes.

Containment nets are used for escarpments with or without vegetal cover, in which the nets must be kept as close as possible to the rock face.
When working on steeply inclined slopes, the nets must be supported at the top and kept free along the wall, so that the boulders can fall towards the foot while remaining contained between the rock and the containment net. At the bottom, the possibility of discharging accumulated debris must be provided for.

Double-twist wire mesh is often used for the installation of rockfall protection nets for the flexibility of direction and the ability to avoid stretch and strain on the mesh itself.
